Using Nanotechnology for Fabricating New Biomaterials and Next-generation Electrodes

The National Science Foundation (NSF) is an independent agency of the US government that supports fundamental research and education in all non-medical fields of science and engineering. The Department of International Science and Engineering funds international activities and collaborations to advance innovation in the US research community through access to international expertise and infrastructure. This department chose, after a competitive process, the organization of an Institute of Advanced Studies by the University of Florida on the Use of Nanotechnology for Fabricating New Biomaterials and Next Generation Electrodes, to be held at Aristotle University (Laboratory of Engineering Mechanics). The participants are graduate US students from the University of Columbia, University of Texas at Arlington, University of Washington, Tufts University, University of Pennsylvania as well as Greek post-graduate students.
